The Southern Ohio Giant Pumpkin Growers (SOGPG) will be holding the Pumpkin Weigh-Off at the Chillicothe Halloween Festival.
The weigh-off for the pumpkins will be Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Registration starts at 11:00am
Watermelon weigh off at 1:30pm
Giant pumpkins weigh off at 4:30pm

The Southern Ohio Giant Pumpkin Growers will be selling gourds and pumpkins, as well as shirts and club memberships throughout the festival weekend. Use the link below to get the most current information and registration information.​​
The Southern Ohio Giant Pumpkin Growers (SOGPG) was first formed around 1999 to 2000. Tony Vanderpool and Andy Uhrig of Frankfort, Ohio grew a large pumpkin and became interested in the sport.
